Chasing TLD's is a very risky business. There could be millions of them someday. However, they are not making any more LLLL.coms and that makes them a collectible that stands out against the rest. I saw the same hype with the other 200 TLD's. I learned my lesson with .us which is pretty similar to .me. I am not saying the .me is bad, as I think that it's great if your looking for a particular domain, especially a verb that goes along best with a .me. However, when it comes to collecting, rare and short .me domains, with the excetion of short words and premium acronyms, I doubt they'll ever make it to the rare, collectibles market considering all the planned, new extension.
I think the .me people are forgetting about all the new alternative extensions that are planned and buying into the .me hype. I can think of hundreds of of domains that are better, easier to remember, etc., than resu.me
